Superb bowl.

Another week down. I can't wait to tell you all someday what my weeks' are REALLY like (no, I'm not a stripper.) For now I will just say it was good. Pretty darn good.
A busy weekend ahead with birthday parties, baby showers and.....Superbowl? I like the idea of Superbowl Sunday. The food, the beer, screaming and yelling for no reason. Here lies the ongoing problem after you have kids: Where the hell does one watch the Superbowl? At this point E and I have a wide array of friends. Mainly due to our 9 year age difference, the eclectic nature of people we love and the main stay, friends-with-kids. Yes, if you haven't heard, the new "friends with benefits" is equal to "friends with kids" once you have your own kid(s.) So, when it comes to events such as Superbowl, we still want to eat our body weight in guacamole, drink beers and make human pyramids like the rest of you but we can't do that with young children to tend to. In this economy, we can't afford a babysitter, and, NO ONE with children and full time jobs want to host a party on a Sunday night. At least none of our friends. Now, I realize not everyone has the same sentiment, but remember folks, we live in San Diego and football is not exactly a "winter sport" or a reason to stay inside for the day.
So here we are, upon another Superbowl Sunday with child. All dressed up and no where to go.....except for the beach....and the nearest Mexican joint for guacamole, chips, a beer, and maybe even some football.
